Ontario Cycling "Coalition" Conference Notice

Dear Cycling Advocate:

The members of the cycling committees in the Burlington, Hamilton-Wentworth and Niagara Regions have had joint meetings for the past number of years. With the success of these meetings, the members have realized that there are common concerns about issues such as transportation, facilities, education and recreational needs of cyclists. Although specific needs of cyclists vary from region to region, the concerns of the cycling committees were similar. What the members found was that we lacked a voice that would address cycling issues on a province-wide basis.

Are you interested in setting up a province-wide cycling advocacy group or Cycling Recreation and Transportation Organization? Would you like to attend a conference on Nov. 6th in St. Catharines, ON where you can meet with other enthusiastic cycling advocates and exchange ideas about a province-wide organization?
