Subject:New Development Applications for West District (Etobicoke)

Recommendation:

It is recommended that the Urban Development report on new development applications for the West District (Etobicoke) be received.

Background:

The purpose of this report is to keep the Community Council and City Council apprised of new development applications (rezoning/official plan amendment, site plan approval, condominium and subdivision) for the West District (Etobicoke) as they are received by this Department.

Exhibit No. 1 is a list of development applications received since June 9, 1999. For the year to date, the Department has received seventeen (17) rezoning and/or Official Plan amendment applications; thirty-five (35) site plan approval applications; one (1) exemption from Part Lot Control application; and three (3) condominium applications.
