		June 29, 1999 TO:Yvonne Davies Committee Administrator East York Community Council FROM:Councillor Jane Pitfield RE:East York Civic Centre - general conditions I would like to request that staff in the Parking/Transportation Services Division, Parks Division and Real Estate investigate, and if feasible, remedy the following problems that have been brought to my attention: Civic Centre parking meter unit - needs to be better signed Civic Centre grounds in need of much improvement - in particular the rose gardens and the shrubbery Deterrent to skateboarders from using the front steps and ramps Staff are requested to report back to the September Community Council meeting regarding their findings and actions. I bring this to the attention of Community Council members and residents of the ward for comment and for information.
