Given that Toronto is vying for the 2008 Olympic Games, and given that the Board of Health is on record as supporting Gun Control, I would argue that it is appropriate that the Board of Health advocate against Combat Shooting as a Demonstration Sport at the 2004 Olympic Games and thereafter. I will be moving that the Board of Health voice its opposition to the sport of Combat Shooting and that appropriate organizations be so notified.
