New Development Applications for North District

Purpose:
The purpose of this report is to inform Community Council of development applications
(zoning and official plan amendment, lifting of (H) holding zone designation as well as plans
of subdivision) received by the Planning Division in the north district from January 1, 1999 to
the Community Council meeting held on March 30, 1999. There will be a similar report
prepared for subsequent Community Council meetings which will outline the applications
received since the previous meeting. This report is not intended to replace the preliminary
evaluation report, rather will ensure that Community Council is immediately informed of new
development applications as they are received.
Recommendation(s):
It is recommended that this report on new development applications for the north district be
received for information.
Background
This report is part of the City wide service equalization efforts and its format and timing may
change to be consistent with new practises as they are established.
Comments:
Exhibit No. 1 is a list of development applications received since January 1, 1999. There were
a total of two (2) official plan amendment applications, one (1) zoning and official plan
amendment application and seven (7) zoning amendment applications.
