UDZ-99-08 and UDSP-99-027

Purpose:

Appeals of zoning by-law amendment application UDZ-99-08 and site plan application UDSP-99-027 have been filed by Cassels Brock and Blackwell, applicant and solicitor.

The applicant has filed the appeals on the grounds that the Council of the City of Toronto has failed make a decision on the applications within the time frames stipulated in the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990. A final report has not been prepared by staff and the statutory public meeting has not been held.

A copy of the appeal letter sent to the Ontario Municipal Board and the City Clerk is attached to this report.

Recommendation:

It is recommended that this report be received for information purposes.
