THE SCARBOROUGH COMMUNITY COUNCIL

City Council, at its meeting held on July 29, 30 and 31, 1998, by its adoption of Clause No. 31 of Report No. 11 of The Corporate Services Committee (copy attached), directed the disposal of a surplus strip of land on French Avenue, Scarborough Highland Creek, and in so doing, authorized City Officials to take the necessary action to give effect thereto.

Legal Services Division has given public notice of the disposal and The Scarborough Community Council is therefore obliged to conduct the Public Meeting under the Municipal Act necessary to give effect to this direction; to hear any person who claims that his or her lands will be prejudicially affected by the proposed road closing; and to forward its recommendations respecting the enactment of the By-law to City Council.

City Clerk.

Margaret ONeil

Atts.
