Advising that City Council at its meeting held on May 11 and 12, 1999, during consideration of Clause No.1 of Report No. 6 of the Striking Committee, entitled "Appointment of Members of Council to Standing and Other Committees of Council, Various Boards and Special Purpose Bodies", referred back the following proposed appointments to the Striking Committee for further consideration, together with the report dated May10,1999, from the City Solicitor advising that there is no longer a legal requirement for municipal representation on the Boards of Directors of Children's Ais Societies:

(i)Catholic Children's Aid Society of Metropolitan Toronto, Board of Directors:

Councillor R. Cho;

Councillor J. Mihevc; and

(ii)Children's Aid Society of Metropolitan Toronto, Board of Directors:

Councillor O. Chow;

Councillor P. McConnell;
