		June 22, 1999 TO:TORONTO COMMUNITY COUNCIL There have been ongoing discussions with businesses between Westmount Avenue and Winona Drive. Councillor Dennis Fotinos and I have sent information out on two occasions. A letter inviting people to a meeting has also gone out from four of the businesses. There was a strong indication from the public meetings that people wanted to go ahead and conduct a formal poll to see if the area identified above should be incorporated as a B.I.A. RECOMMENDATION: Recommend to City Council to instruct staff to conduct a poll on St. Clair Avenue West, between Westmount Avenue and Winona Drive, for purposes of establishing a B.I.A.
