To further amend former City of Toronto By-law No. 602-89, being "A By-law To authorize the construction,
widening, narrowing, alteration and repair of sidewalks, pavements and curbs at various locations", respecting the
alteration consisting of the widening of the pavement by the construction of a lay-by on the south side of Eglinton
Avenue East near Redpath Avenue .
WHEREAS notice of a proposed By-law regarding the proposed alteration was published in a daily newspaper on , 1999
and interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard at a public meeting held on ,1999 and it is appropriate to
amend the by-law to permit the alteration;
The Council of the City of Toronto HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1.Former City of Toronto By-law No. 602-89, being "A By-law To authorize the construction, widening, narrowing,
alteration and repair of sidewalks, pavements and curbs at various locations", is amended:
(1)by inserting in Columns 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, respectively, of Schedule "B-2" (Pavement Widening) the following:

ALTERATION OF EGLINTON AVENUE EAST
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Toronto proposes to pass a by-law to authorize the alteration of
Eglinton Avenue East near Redpath Avenue by widening the pavement by the construction of a lay-by.
The proposed by-law and plans showing the lands to be affected may be seen in my office, Secretariat Division , 2nd Floor,
100 Queen Street West, City Hall. If you require any special assistance, please call 392-7033 (TTY 392-7354).
At its meeting to be held in the Council Chamber at the City Hall, 100 Queen Street West, on ______ day of ___________,
1999 at ______ a.m., the Toronto Community Council will hear in person or by his or her counsel, agent or solicitor, any
person who claims that his or her lands will be prejudicially affected by the proposed by-law and who applies to be heard.
