		14.FUTURE RESURFACING OF HALFORD AVENUE, Ward 27 - York-Humber. Whereas maintaining the quality characteristics of our neighbourhoods has always been a high priority in the York Community, and Whereas Halford Avenue has had a very unique and charming characteristic of having a brick road surface, now Therefore be it resolved that York Community Council requests the Commissioner of Works and Emergency Services to direct that all future road repair projects on Halford Avenue respect the brick surface of the roadway, and Further be it resolved that any future resurfacing of Halford Avenue be done in a manner consistent with the original, historic nature of the road and that asphalt not be used.
