		REQUEST FOR TRAFFIC CALMING MEASURES ON NORTHCLIFFE BOULEVARD AT ST. CLARE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Ward 28, York Eglinton Councillor J. Mihevc (March 17, 1999) I have met with the vice-principal of St. Clare School and he has some safety concerns for children. One of his concerns is the school bus drop off, as it is on the right hand side of the road, requiring the children to run across to the other side of the sidewalk for their entrance to the school. I would like to suggest that staff study the feasibility of having a crosswalk installed near 127Northcliffe Blvd. I would also like to suggest that two speed humps be installed in front of the school entrance and in front of 125 Northcliffe Blvd. I would also suggest "no parking" restrictions be implemented before and after the proposed crosswalk.
