Comments from Residents:

Not In Favour:

(a)We are not in favour because there is no convenience to park our cars. We will appreciate it if you leave it the way it is. Thanks.

(b)If it is safety that Council is concerned about, I suggest changing the Stop sign that is hardly visible from the rust it has, as well as monitoring the speeding vehicles that don't stop at the stop signs.

Those are the issues that threaten the safety of children in the neighbourhood all year long, not the parked cars on one side of the street.

I have been on Avalon Avenue since early 1995 and there has not bee one single accident or injury of any sort due to the parked cars on the west side. Let's not make excuses to meet personal agendas. I find this disgraceful.

(c)What next?

(d)I am not in favour.
