Request for a Flashing Light at Keywest Avenue

and Dufferin Street

Ward 28, York-Eglinton

Councillor Davis

(November 3, 1999)

My office has received a request for flashing lights to be installed at the above intersection. The constituent has indicated that due to the grade of Dufferin Street when travelling north, it is difficult for motorist to be aware of vehicles turning east at Keywest Avenue.

Therefore, it was felt that a flashing warning light at the above intersection would be a good safety feature to warn motorists of this intersection. I would appreciate it if you would have staff investigate the feasibility of this request and advise my office of your findings.

Thank you
