		Authority:Board of Health Report No. 10, Clause No. 3, as adopted by Council on July 29, 30 and 31, 1998 and Nominating Committee Report No. 1, Clause No. 1, as adopted by Council on February 2, 3, and 4, 1999 Enacted by Council: CITY OF TORONTO Bill No. 14 BY-LAW No. To amend By-law No. 27-1998, to increase the size of the Board of Health. WHEREAS subsection 46(2) of the City of Toronto Act, 1997 (No. 2) provides that the Council of the City shall, by by-law, establish the size of the Board of Health in accordance with subsection 49(2) of the Health Protection and Promotion Act; and WHEREAS subsection 49(2) of the Health Protection and Promotion Act provides that there shall not be fewer than three (3) and not more than thirteen (13) municipal members of each board of health; The Council of The City of Toronto HEREBY ENACTS as follows: 1.By-law No. 27-1998, being "A By-law respecting the size of the Board of Health for the City of Toronto Health Unit and the term of office of Board members.", is amended by deleting "ten (10)" in section 2 and substituting "thirteen (13)".
