Parking (Metro) Underground - 15 (Designated)
Locations for Councillors
The Corporate Services Committee recommends:
(1)the adoption of the Recommendation of the Office Consolidation Sub-Committee embodied in the following
communication (March 11, 1999) from the City Clerk;
(2)that the remaining parking spaces previously assigned to Councillors at Metro Hall, be offered to employees at
commercial rates, and that employees be allowed to enter into a lottery to lease those spaces; and
(3)that the Commissioner of Corporate Services be authorized to establish an equivalent commercial rate on a
monthly basis:
Recommendation:
The Office Consolidation Sub-Committee recommends the adoption of the report (March 9, 1999) from the Commissioner
of Corporate Services.
The Sub-Committee also requested that the Commissioner of Corporate Services review the necessity of the allotted
parking spaces and report thereon to the Committee.
Background:
The Office Consolidation Sub-Committee on March 10, 1999, had before it a report (March9,1999) from the
Commissioner of Corporate Services respecting Parking (Metro) Underground - 15(Designated) Locations for Councillors.
The Sub-Committee's recommendation is noted above.

Purpose:
To provide an interim report on the request for fifteen designated parking spaces at Metro Hall for Councillors.
Comments:
Fifteen designated parking spaces for Councillors can be provided at Metro Hall on an interim basis pending an overall
parking review. The allocation of spaces and access cards to be determined.
