		Authority:Administration Committee Report No. Clause No. as adopted by City of Toronto Council on July 27, 28 and 29, 1999 Enacted by Council: CITY OF TORONTO Bill No. 446 BY-LAW No. To authorize the appointment of certain Commissioners to act in the place and stead of the Chief Administrative Officer WHEREAS it is desirable that the Council of the City make provision by by-law for the appointment of alternates to act from time to time in the place and stead of the Chief Administrative Officer when he is absent from duty due to travel, illness, or otherwise: Now, therefore, the Council of the City of Toronto HEREBY ENACTS as follows: 1.Any one, as may from time to time be designated in writing by the Chief Administrative Officer for such period as may be specified in such designation, of the Commissioners of Community and Neighbourhood Services, Works and Emergency Services, Corporate Services, Economic Development, Culture & Tourism, Urban Planning & Development and the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, is hereby authorized during the period ending at 12:00 midnight on the 31st day of January, 2001 to act in the place and stead of the Chief Administrative Officer when he is absent from his duties due to travel, illness, or otherwise.
