BY-LAW No. -1999

To amend Chapter 134 of the Etobicoke Municipal Code, a by-law providing for the construction and maintenance of fire routes in the geographic area of Etobicoke, a by-law of the former City of Etobicoke.

WHEREAS, pursuant to the City of Toronto Act, 1997, S.O. 1997 , c. 2, every by-law or resolution of an old council that is in force immediately before January 1st, 1998 is deemed to be a by-law or resolution of the Council of the City of Toronto and remains in force, in respect of the part of the urban area to which it applied immediately before January 1st, 1998, until the Council repeals it or amends it to provide otherwise; and

WHEREAS Chapter 134 of the Municipal Code of the former City of Etobicoke provides for the construction and maintenance of fire routes; and

WHEREAS Chapter 134 of the Etobicoke Municipal Code was in force in the former Etobicoke immediately before January 1st, 1998 and has not been repealed or amended to provide otherwise by the Council of the City of Toronto; and

WHEREAS a Fire Route is to be constructed in accordance with Chapter 134 of the Etobicoke Municipal Code;

The Council of the City of Toronto HEREBY ENACTS as follows:

1.Chapter 134 of the Etobicoke Municipal Code, a by-law of the former City of Etobicoke that provides for the construction and maintenance of fire routes in the geographic area of Etobicoke, is amended by adding to Chapter 134-20. Schedule B, Lands Upon Which Fire Routes Are to Be Constructed and Maintained the following:

186 Kingsview Boulevard
