BY-LAW No.

 

To amend Scarborough Zoning By-Law No. 24982, the Employment Districts Zoning By-Law, with respect to The Golden Mile Employment District

WHEREAS authority is given to Council of the City of Toronto by Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P. 13, as amended, to pass this By-law; and whereas Council has provided adequate information to the public and has held at least one public meeting in accordance with the Planning Act;

The Council of the City of Toronto HEREBY ENACTS as follows:

1. SCHEDULE "A" is amended by deleting the current zoning and substituting the following zoning as shown on the attached Schedule "1":

ME - 190 - 230 - 913 - 988 - 1054 - 1181 - 2029

2. SCHEDULE "B", PERFORMANCE STANDARDS CHART, is amended by adding the following Performance Standards:

GROSS FLOOR AREA

190. Gross floor area of all buildings shall not exceed 14 000 m5.

OTHER YARDS

1181. Open Storage and display of goods, in conjunction with a Retail Store, shall be permitted within 60 m of a main wall.

3. SCHEDULE "C", EXCEPTIONS LIST, is amended by adding the following Exception Number 434:

 

 

 

 

434. (a) Additional Permitted Uses:

- Service Shops

- Vehicle Repair Garages and Vehicle Service Garages

ancillary to Retail Stores

- Open Storage ancillary to Retail Stores
