Bill No. 589

BY-LAW No. -1999

To amend By-law No. 355-74, being a by-law to stop up and close to vehicular traffic a portion of Cottingham Street and a portion of Gange Avenue

 

WHEREAS it is recommended that Section 1 of By-law No. 355-74 be amended by deleting a portion of the lands described therein;

The Council of the City of Toronto HEREBY ENACTS as follows:

1. Section 1 of By-law No. 355-74 is hereby deleted in its entirety and the following new section 1 is hereby inserted in its place:

1. That portion of Cottingham Street and that portion of Gange Avenue, described as follows:

In the City of Toronto and Province of Ontario, being composed of part of the Public Highway Cottingham Street on Plan 350-York and part of the Public Highway Gange Avenue dedicated by City of Toronto By-law 21894 (66537EM), being part of Block D on Plan 804-E, designated as PART 1 on Plan 63R-507, all of the said Plans being in the Land Registry Office for the Metropolitan Toronto Registry Division (No. 64)

SAVING AND EXCEPTING thereout and therefrom part of the said Public Highway Cottingham Street designated as PART 1 on Plan 64R-16167 deposited in the said Land Registry Office

are hereby stopped up and closed to vehicular traffic and the erection of barricades to enforce the due observance hereof is hereby authorized.
