To amend further Metropolitan Toronto By-law No. 20-85, a by-law "Respecting the licensing, regulating and governing of trades, callings, businesses and occupations in the Metropolitan Area", a by-law of the former Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto, respecting cabs.
The Council of The City of Toronto HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1. Section 29, clause 28(1)(a) and subsection 44(3) of Schedule "A" to By-law No. 478-1999, enacted by City Council on July 29, 1999, further amending By-law No. 20-85, being a by-law of the former Metropolitan Council "Respecting the licensing, regulating and governing of trades, callings, businesses and occupations in the Metropolitan Area", as amended, are amended to correct the word "Commissioner" wherever it appears therein by deleting such word and inserting in lieu thereof the words "Executive Director".
2. Clause 16(6)(b) of Schedule "A" to By-law No. 478-1999 is amended to correct the words "Licensing Municipal Standards Division" therein by deleting such words and inserting in lieu thereof the words "Municipal Licensing and Standards Division".
3. Subsection 107(2) of Schedule "A" to By-law No. 478-1999 is amended to correct the words "Licensing and Municipal Standards Division" by deleting such words and inserting in lieu thereof the words "Municipal Licensing and Standards Division".
4. Subsection 49(1) of Schedule "A" to By-law No. is amended to correct the words "one year" therein by deleting such words and inserting in lieu thereof the words "two years".
5. This by-law shall be deemed to have come into force on July 29, 1999.
