BY-LAW No. - 1999

To amend City of North York By-law 7625

in respect of lands municipally known as

1857 Leslie Street

WHEREAS authority is to given to Council by Section 36 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter P.13 as amended, by the use of the holding symbol in conjunction with any use designation, to specify the use to which lands, buildings or structures may be put at such time in the future as the holding symbol is removed by amendment to the zoning by-law;

AND WHEREAS Part C.8, Section 7 of the North York official plan provides that Council may append an "H" symbol to the Industrial-Commercial (MC) zone symbol to regulate the development of offices and retail uses on properties in Industrial areas;

AND WHEREAS the criteria has been fulfilled such that it is appropriate that the "H" symbol be partially lifted;

The Council of the City of Toronto HEREBY ENACTS as follows:

1.Schedules "B" and "C" of By-law No. 7625 are amended in accordance with Schedule "1" of this By-law.

2.Section 64.33 of By-law No. 7625 is amended by adding the following subsection:

 64.33(92)MC(92)(H)

EXCEPTION REGULATION

(a)The maximum gross floor area of retail stores and personal service shops shall be 8,900 m2.
