To amend City of Toronto By-law No. 673-1998, as amended, being a by-law "To Prohibit Excessive Idling of
Vehicles and Boats".
WHEREAS it is desirable to have reference to the Provincial Offences Act in the general penalty provision section of City
of Toronto By-law No. 673-1998, as amended, being a by-law "To Prohibit Excessive Idling of Vehicles and Boats";
The Council of the City of Toronto HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1. Section 3 of City of Toronto By-law No. 673-1998, as amended, being a by-law "To Prohibit Excessive Idling of
Vehicles and Boats", is further amended by deleting: "Any person who contravenes any provision of this by-law is guilty of
an offence." and inserting in lieu thereof: "Every person who contravenes any provision of this by-law is guilty of an
offence and on conviction is liable to a fine as provided for in the Provincial Offences Act.".
ENACTED AND PASSED this day of A.D. 1999.
