Subject: Children and Youth Action Committee - Membership Changes

Recommendations:

The Children and Youth Action Committee recommended to the Community Services Committee:

1. That Trustee Elizabeth Boyd be appointed to the Children and Youth Action Committee as the representative for the Toronto Catholic District School Board to replace Trustee Rose Andrachuk; and

2. That Trustee Barbara Poplawski be appointed as the alternate member for the Toronto Catholic District School Board to replace Ms. Nora Donovan.

Background:

The Children and Youth Action Committee on January 17, 2000, had before it a communication (December 13, 1999) from the Director of Education, Toronto Catholic District School Board, advising that on November 22, 1999, the Toronto Catholic District School Board appointed Trustee Elizabeth Boyd and Trustee Barbara Poplawski (Alternate) as representatives to the Children and Youth Action Committee.

The Committee's recommendations are noted above.
