		(Communication dated December 8, 1999, from Dick O'Brien, Chair, The Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, addressed to the City Clerk) Please find enclosed a copy of the 1998 Annual Report of the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority. In order to achieve our objectives for watershed management now and into the new millennium, the Authority continues to foster existing partnerships and develop new ones. The Authority needs the continued support and participation of all our partners. It is essential to the planning and delivery of watershed management strategies which incorporate a broad range of interests and can be implemented at the local level. In this regard, I am requesting you advise your Council that the 1998 Annual Report is available. If any Councillors would like their own copy, they may contact our office directly. I would be delighted to provide you with further details of our work at any time.
