"Please accept my resignation from the Pedestrian Committee, effective immediately.
"Since I will not be able to attend the February meeting of the Pedestrian Committee, I decided to submit my resignation
now, so that the first alternate can attend the March meeting along with the other new members.
"This is not good-bye. I will still come to as many meetings as I can, and hope to participate on subcommittees as
appropriate (in particular those concerned with issues such as the timing of lights, and with design of roads, sidewalks, and
crosswalks).
You are doing a marvelous job as co-chairs as always, and the committee is going from strength to strength. So best wishes
to all. See you in March."
