REQUEST FOR NO PARKING REGULATION ON EDMUND AVENUE

TO BE CHANGED TO NO STOPPING ON BOTH SIDES,

WEST OF WESTON ROAD - Ward 27, York Humber.

Councillor F. Nunziata

(January 11, 2000)

I have been contacted by several constituents on Edmund Avenue who have expressed several concerns regarding the state of parking on their street as a result of the business practices of two automobile related uses operating at the end of the street on Weston Road.

In light of these concerns and based on suggestions from Parking Enforcement, I would request that Council approve a change to the parking situation on Edmund Avenue from its present situation (No Parking) to "No Stopping" for about 200 feet west of Weston Road on Both Side.

This would require staff and Parking Enforcement specifically with the tools that they require to better deal with the parking conditions on Edmund Avenue.
