BY-LAW No. xxx-2000
To amend the General Zoning By-law No. 438-86 of the former City of Toronto with respect to lands known as Nos.
130 Gerrard Street East, 337 Jarvis Street
and 12, 14, 16 and 18 Horticultural Avenue.
The Council of the City of Toronto HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1. None of the provisions of Sections 4(2), 6(1)(f)(b) or 6(3) Part I of By-law No. 438-86 of the former City of Toronto
being "A By-law To regulate the use of land and the erection, use, bulk, height, spacing of and other matters relating to
buildings and structures and to prohibit certain uses of lands and the erection and use of certain buildings and structures in
various areas of the City of Toronto", as amended, shall apply to prevent the buildings existing in the year 1998 and the
uses contained within such buildings in the year 1998, on the lot, provided the combined residential gross floor area and
non-residential gross floor area of the buildings does not exceed 6 600 square metres and the lot consists of at least the
lands shown outlined by heavy lines on the attached plan.
2. For the purposes of this By-law:
(1) the word"lot", notwithstanding the definition contained in Section 2 of By-law No. 438-86, means the lands outlined by
heavy lines on the attached plan, whether or not the 6 existing buildings on the lot are joined above or below grade; and
(2) each word or expression which is italicised in this by-law, other than "lot", shall have the same meaning as each word
or expression as defined in By-law No. 438-86, as amended.
ENACTED AND PASSED this 3rd day of February, A.D. 2000.
