Requests for Endorsement of Events for
Liquor Licensing Purposes
The Toronto Community Council recommends that City Council for
liquor licensing purposes:
(1) declare Toronto's Festival of Beer to be held in Historic Fort York
on August 11, 12 and 13, 2000 to be an event of municipal and/or
community significance and advise the Alcohol and Gaming
Commission of Ontario that it has no objection to its taking place;
and
(2) advise the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario that it is
aware of the event to be held at Scruffy Murphy's Irish Pub, 150
Eglinton Avenue East on March 17, 2000, and has no objection to
it taking place; nor to an extension of the liquor licence at the rear
of 150 Eglinton Avenue East to accommodate the projected volume
of people for the event.
