Notice - July 24, 2023: Dufferin Bridge and Dufferin St. southbound (at Dufferin Bridge) close for repairs effective July 12, 2023.
- The City has discovered further damage to the bridge and the deck panels on the southbound portion of the Dufferin Street bridge south of Springhurst Ave. It was also discovered the fracture extends to the underside of the bridge.
- To facilitate the necessary repair work, the bridge will be closed to vehicles and traffic.
- The pedestrian sidewalk will remain open and people cycling can dismount and walk their bike across.
- City staff will be working expeditiously to complete the repairs and minimize the closure period as much as possible. Repairs are expected to take up to two months.
