Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 743, Section 743-13 (outstanding amendments - Bylaw 375-2012), prohibits the discharge of water from any land or building into a street that in the opinion of City staff creates a hazard or nuisance.

Property owners have 24 hours to correct the problem after it has been identified by staff as a hazard or nuisance.
