The Fireworks Bylaw regulates the use and sale of fireworks in Toronto. Under the bylaw consumer fireworks are banned in City parks and on beaches, and also not allowed to be set off in streets, parking lots and private property that is not your own.

In addition, under the Parks Bylaw, possessing, discharging or igniting fireworks in a City park or beach at any time is prohibited. You may be fined $600 for possessing or setting off fireworks in a park or beach.
