A service request for graffiti can be submitted for the following traffic signal elements:

  • Traffic signals
  • Traffic signal boxes (controller cabinets - boxes are grey in colour and located at traffic control intersections)
  • Traffic signal poles (only includes octagonal poles)
  • Stickers above push button controls on traffic signal poles or cross walk poles.

Note:

  • Poles that are not octagonal are not traffic signal poles. These poles are the property of other utilities (i.e. Toronto Hydro if they have street lights or hydro lines attached)
  • The City of Toronto has approved locations where artists have been permitted to create art on City traffic signal boxes (StART:Outside the Box)
  • The City has a current contract through Goodbye Graffiti.
