Animal Services will respond to calls regarding sick or injured birds.
Note: Fledglings (baby birds) may spend up to a week on the ground before they are able to fly. This is normal and the parents will continue to protect and feed them.

Bird Banding - Some Canada Geese and Mallard Ducks in the City will have tags on their leg or neck, this is the practice of bird banding and it is not harmful to the animals.
