Disputing lifts It is the responsibility of the property manager to keep a tracking log of the bins being set out for pick up. If there is a discrepancy between the tracking log and the invoice - a discrepancy in the overall volume collected - then it is important to bring this to the attention of Solid Waste Management Services. Note: The cubic yards collected are determined by the size of the bins being collected, the number of bins being set out for collection, the frequency of collection. If an address sets out two 3-cubic yard bins once a week, then 6 cubic yards of garbage are collected weekly. On a monthly billing cycle, this would result in 24 cubic yards of garbage being generated.
A multi-residential building is defined as having more than 8 legal dwelling units. The units can be condos or rentals. These customers may have steel metal bins for garbage if they are collected front end. Alternatively, they may have their waste collected via curbside collection using black 95 gallon garbage bins with a serial # that begins with 95B.
