The Toronto Port Authority's Practices and Procedures are made pursuant to the Canadian Marine Act and provide authority to the Toronto Police Service (TPS) to patrol the waters within the limits of the Port and Harbour of Toronto to ensure all ships/vessels/crafts comply with all the practices and procedures.
