To report maintenance concerns on Ministry of Transportation property, including provincial highways (such as the 400-series highways and QEW) and ramps, or to report graffiti (including hateful or discriminatory graffiti), please contact MTO.

Any debris that creates a safety hazard is removed immediately by the MTO maintenance contractors. In the spring and throughout the warmer months, ministry contractors clean up litter that has accumulated over the winter.

Grass is cut two metres from the edge of pavement when it reaches 500mm in height. Grass is also cut to help drivers see signs and objects such as vehicles at intersections.

Signs damaged on a provincial highway are maintained by MTO.
