The City is planning improvements to the playground in Charlton Park! These improvements are part of an ongoing city-wide program to ensure playgrounds provide safe and accessible fun for all.

Charlton Park is located at 166 Charlton Blvd., near Bathurst Street and Finch Avenue West in North York. The park features a children’s playground and open green space. The playground is being redesigned based on the community’s feedback. The improvements may include:
The City is proposing to replace the playground equipment in the same location while adding seating and an accessible walkway to the playground. All playground equipment replaced will meet accessibility standards.

A virtual public meeting presented the proposed playground design, which was developed using feedback from the March online survey. Participants had the opportunity to ask the project team questions and share their feedback.
A meeting summary and meeting slides will be posted when available.
The survey asked community members for feedback and preferences on multiple playground options. The design team use the feedback collected in this survey to develop a single playground design.
