Herbert H. Carnegie Centennial Centre is located near Bathurst Street and Finch Avenue West. It houses an arena with change rooms, washrooms and an indoor ice rink, which converts to a dry pad for sports such as ball hockey and lacrosse in the summer. The community centre area is at the front of the facility and includes multipurpose rooms and public washrooms. The facility is being improved as part of a state-of-good-repair program and includes the following improvements:

  • Public washrooms and changing rooms upgrades
  • Mechanical, HVAC and electrical systems upgrades
  • Refrigeration system upgrades with ice pad replacement
  • Updates to the multi-purpose rooms
  • Accessibility improvements including accessible change room, washroom and elevator

The improvements will be delivered in multiple phases. During the community centre phase, there will be no access to the multi-purpose rooms and washrooms. During the arena phase, the arena pad will be closed and there will be no access to the associated change rooms and washrooms.
