The City is updating the playground in Lake Crescent Park! The improvements will include new play equipment, play surfacing and additional seating.

Project Timeline

  • December 2020 to January 2021: Community engagement
  • February to May 2021: Design and hiring construction team
  • Summer/Fall 2021: Construction

The timeline is subject to change.

Lake Crescent Park is a small park near Lake Crescent and Royal York Road that features a children’s playground. The playground is being redesigned to better serve the community. The scope of work will include:

  • New play equipment
  • New play surfacing
  • Additional seating
  • Accessibility pathway

The final playground design will be developed through consultation with the community.

The City conducted an online survey to gather feedback on the new playground design. The survey was available to complete from December 7 to December 31, 2020.
