  • January 2021: Hire a design team
  • Spring 2021: Design development
  • Fall 2021: Detailed design
  • February 2022: Hire a construction team
  • Mid-August 2022: Construction starts
  • October 2022: Construction complete

The timeline is subject to change and weather permitting.

Sections of the trail are being repaved as part of a state-of-good-repair project to help address wet site conditions and to improve the overall trail system. Construction will occur from August 29 to October, 2022, because the trail area will be dryer, which decreases the likelihood of weather-related delays.
