The City is planning improvements to Turnberry North Park to better serve the community’s needs. The project provides an opportunity to make the park fully accessible with pathway improvements, safety surfacing and additional seating areas for social gatherings.
The park design has been finalized and construction will begin in late Summer/early Fall 2020.

Feedback from public meetings, the local Councillor and stakeholders were incorporated in the final concept design for Turnberry North Park in order to support a wide range of community needs. The park will be fully accessible and the existing artificial turf will be removed and replaced with a lawn area and new tree plantings, a play area and expanded social gathering spaces. The Project Team presented the preliminary concept plan for the fitness/play equipment for the park design. A discussion followed the presentation to gather community feedback, which was taken into consideration for the final design.
