The City is improving the heritage building in Coronation Park-Etobicoke, formerly Mimico Train Station. Originally constructed in 1916, the building features wainscoting and stucco over wooden tongue-and-groove siding with an asphalt shingle roof. It was relocated to its current site in 2007 and placed on a concrete foundation. Around 2013, the interior was renovated for use as a condominium showroom, with new finishes covering much of the original. The design will be shaped by community feedback.
The timeline is subject to change. More details about the construction schedule will be shared as they become available.
