The City is adding a new basketball court, pathways and seating to Fairfield Park as part of the Parks and Recreation Facilities Master Plan. This plan reviewed Toronto’s existing basketball facilities to assess whether improvements or new facilities are needed to meet the growing demand for the sport. The new court is proposed to be located at the south end of the open field.
