The City is improving Glamorgan Park. The park design is proposed to include new pathways, seating, picnic tables and a one-directional cricket pitch. The design for the new cricket pitch will be guided by the Cricket Strategy.

Construction Update
Construction of the new pathways, shade pavilion, seating and picnic tables will begin this month. Construction is expected to be complete in December 2026.
Design
New single-direction cricket pitch (40m x 3.6m) with artificial turf surface
New 6.0m height chain link backstop and fence
Open lawn area for informal playing field
Existing trees to be removed to accommodate new cricket pitch
Existing basketball court (to remain)
New 3.0m height chain link fence added along north side of basketball court
