A new 230 m2 parkette is coming to 1071 King St. W. as part of a mixed-use development project at King Street West and Douro Street. The parkette design includes an open plaza, drinking fountain and bottle filler, a green wall, seating, lighting and a metal staircase connecting the lower and upper levels of the parkette.
The timeline is subject to change.
Retaining walls at the south and west edges will be constructed shortly, with the remainder of parkette construction to take place at a later date.
