Two new parks are coming to the Mimico-Queensway neighbourhood as a result of mixed-use development projects. The design for each park will be shaped through community engagement.

In this phase, the City will collect feedback on the community’s preferred sports facilities, amenities and park features. This feedback will help inform the vision for each park and design options, which will be presented to the community for feedback in Community Engagement Phase 2.
From November 28 to December 17, an online thought exchange activity was conducted to gather community input on preferred sports facilities, amenities, and design features for the new parks. A total of 144 participants contributed 109 responses and 2,229 thought ratings.

In this phase, the City will present two to three design options for community feedback. The feedback will be used to develop a preferred design for each park.
