The City is undertaking a study to guide growth and future development within the Yonge-St. Clair Apartment Neighbourhood areas. The study will include the evaluation of appropriate built form, pedestrian linkages, and a public realm and open space strategy. The study builds upon the Yonge-St. Clair Planning Framework that was approved by City Council in 2020.
On January 29, 2020, City Council directed City Planning to study the Apartment Neighbourhoods designated lands to the northwest and southeast of the Yonge Street and St. Clair Avenue intersection.
The City is hosting a community meeting on May 27, 2021 between 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., where you can learn more, ask questions, and share your comments about The Yonge-St. Clair Apartment Neighbourhood Study.
This meeting will be held online and phone-in only. Please register prior to the meeting.
