This project has been classified as a Consult project based on the International Association for Public Participation's Spectrum. This means we obtain public feedback on existing analysis, alternatives and/or proposals for potential improvements to the existing arena facilities to help inform the development of the final design.
This phase involved engaging with community to establish a vision for an improved and modernized CRC and using that feedback to develop design options
The outcomes of this phase include a draft community vision for the improved CRC.
From April 23 to May 11, an interactive thought exchange activity collected ideas to help shape a vision for the improved CRC.
In this phase, the project team will build on the outcomes from Community Engagement Phase 1 to develop two or three design options for the community recreation centre improvements. These options will be presented to the community for feedback, which will inform the development of a preferred design.
