As the full name suggests, the David Appleton Community Recreation Centre and Syme 55+ Centre are two centres housed under one roof. Syme 55+ Centre is a room located within the David Appleton building which caters to seniors. It offers a wide variety of programming for older adults in the neighbourhood. Recreational activities take place weeknights and on the weekends. The room is not intended for large functions or activities involving alcohol. There are table and chairs to accommodate groups of 40 or less. Limited onsite parking is available, with street parking as an option.
